You are absolutelty right. As AI capabilities continue advancing, we must reevaluate traditional approaches especially in areas like assessments and academic integrity. With open access to robust information via AI, what constitutes cheating needs to be reconsidered. Effective student assessment in this evolving landscape demands fresh perspectives. What does cheating mean now that every student has access to these AI tools? It's true that we've had Google for some time now but these AI tools just give you access to a lot of information at a much faster and convenient rate. How then do we assess students in the most effective way? I provided what I consider to be a pertinent answer to this question in one of my viral posts.
