We’ve already added 100 subscribers and our four posts have more than 1,100 page views.
This Week’s Posts
Since some of you are new, I’ll review the highlights and add a couple updates.
(1) The Debate Over Artificial General Intelligence, Artificial Super Intelligence and What it Means for Education was the first post and I just updated it with some new key reports and analysis.
(2) Debating Jobs: Artificial Intelligence, Upcoming Unemployment and the Impact on Schools was the most popular post. Many commented on its thoroughness. This is greatly appreciated in a world of soundbites.
(3) The May Department of Education Report on AI in the Classroom was our second most popular post. Many have put out links to the report, but this contains contains key quotes from the report organized by topic.
(4) We Need to Involve Everyone: AI isn’t Just Another “EdTech” Tool. We need to include expertise way beyond EdTech.
Stefan’s Class with Dr. Sabba Quidwai Kicks-Off
We kicked our our first AI for Leaders boot camp this week! Our first course has more than 30 enrollees that include pubic school technology directors, regional technology directors, teachers, debate coaches and university professors.
Last week’s class focused on the history of AI, current technologies, and where the technology is rapidly headed. This week’s course focuses on prompting AIs with Sabba’s creative SPARK framework.
We are going to add two more additional modules — one on key Bing developments and one on key Bard developments. These will be added after week 4 is complete. Everything is recorded, so join us any time!
Upcoming Debate!
Stefan will be participating in a discussion this coming Monday morning on being human in the age of AI. The discussion is organized into a debate format that will focus on the prioritization of soft skills relative to traditional knowledge.
6AM ET; 11am UK. Register and join the 150 attendees.
