I’m pleased to announce that today we are launching the Global AI Debates to support student efforts to engage AI literacy on their terms. The debates are open to students ages 8-22.
The format for the debate includes an initial written submission, a written rebuttal for those that make the elimination rounds, and then subsequent online debates until a champion for each age-based division is determined.
Students also have the opportunity to submit a video as part of a public speaking contest.
All Participants Will Receive the Following
*Free access to BoodleBox until April 30th to support their preparation (one coach and up to 5 students per entry).
Access to BoodleBox will be available starting November 26th until the end of April and participants will receive access within 24 hours of their registration for the tournament. (The initial registration simply registers your team (s); you will submit the names of the students with the initial entry or speech). Institutions can receive up to 5 BoodleBox seats per entry.
*Certificate with their names as participants in the Global AI Debates and those of many of our partners, including UC Berkeley Debate.
*An opportunity speak with many entrepreneurs in the AI education space.
Winners Will Have the Opportunity to
*Receive global recognition
*Compete in front of world-renowned judges
